The Cold Hard Truth Of Our Reality
The classical concept of the world was reshaped after the Last Great War.
Since its flawed inception, the globe model had been challenged by many renown explorers and scientists; high ranking military and naval officers documented their discoveries of not only inexplicable journeys beyond the pole, but to the limits of our realm.
Once the truth was found to be leaking out at an unstoppable speed, the United Nations World Government set in motion the "Last Great War". It was an overt attempt to reset all civilization back to the Dark Ages, by directly eliminating the electrical and computational systems, industrialization and civilizations of the world. A direct attempt to erase all knowledge - and the technology capable of exploring and further understanding the domed and finite reality which all humanity is placed in.
This failed dramatically and mankind was finally made aware of the domed reality in which we are trapped, as far too many returning soldiers saw the actual hard flat edge to the world in person and conveyed what had been hidden from mankind for centuries by malicious small cabal wanting dominion over the enclosed realm. This combined with the breaking expose of the 'missing space station' and 'space travel' debacle in the world media, caused all prior indoctrinated notions of this world being a sphere, on an axial tilt of 66.6 degrees, spinning 666 km/h while orbiting a sun at 66,600 mp/h, as the solar system is flying through a vast universe at an insane speed, to be vanquished to the realm of fanatical pseudoscience lead by a cult prescribing to archaic obsession with numerology and hidden secrets.
Humanity had awoken to the millennia of lies spun over them, by those who claimed to be of the truth but who were in fact pure evil and life's mortal enemy.
The remnants of the old systems quickly regrouped and utilized the 'Patriot' angle to form borders of control and ensure there would never be world peace again.
